Recipe of khichadi
is very easyyyyyy…
Serving – 4 people
Cooking time – 30 min
Ingrediants :
·
Rice (2 medium bowls)
·
Green gram (Moong daal) (2 bowls)
·
Onions – 2-3 large
·
Tomatoes – 2 medium
·
Potatoes – 1 large
·
Garlic cloves – 15-20 cloves
·
Ginger - 1-2 inch
·
Green chilies – 4-5
·
Coriander - a half bowl
·
Oil – 6-8 large spoons
·
Red chilli powder – 2-3
tablespoons
·
Salt(as per taste), turmeric(1/5
tea spoon
)
·
Kanda lasoon masala – 2 tablespoons
Recipe :
Step
1 – mix rice and moong daal and wash it well. Let keep it aside
Step
2 – make a paste of green chilies, garlic cloves and ginger together
Step
3 – chop the onions & tomatoes in small pieces and chop the potatoes in
medium pieces.
Step
4 – keep cooker on the gas & put oil in it and wait till oil gets hot
Step
5 – put cumin into oil
Step
6 – add chopped onions into cooker…fry it well upto turning into light brown
Step
7 - add the paste of garlic & ginger
and fry it
Step
8 - add the chopped tomatoes in it…fry
all the stuff turning into a paste
Step
9 - now add the coriander and chopped
potatoes and mix it well
Step
10 - now add red chilli powder,kanda
lasoon masala, salt and turmeric and mix it well
Step
11 – add the mixed rice and green gram…fry
it well with the stuff
Step
12 – add water in the stuff let it be cooked
for 15-20 minutes on a medium flame
